DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The National Weather Service Office in Duluth has issued a Red Flag Warning on Monday for most of northeast Minnesota due to critical fire weather conditions.
A combination of strong winds, low humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
The Red Flag Warning will be in effect from 11 a-m to 8 p-m on Monday. Southwest winds are expected with gusts to 30 miles per hour and relative humidity as low as 20 percent.
Any fires that ignite could spread rapidly and would be difficult to control. Any outdoor burning is not recommended.
