EMBARRASS TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department was called to an area along Highway 21 in Embarrass Township Monday night for a semi tractor-trailer rollover.
The driver, a 58 year old man from Blackduck, says a vehicle pulled out in front of him causing him to swerve and lose control.
The semi and its cargo of railroad ties went into the ditch and overturned. The driver was taken to a hospital for a non-life threatening head injury.
The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident and formal charges are pending.
The Minnesota State Patrol is also investigating the accident.
