DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A suspect wanted in a homicide that occurred in Ramsey County, Minnesota early Saturday has been arrested in Duluth.
Information was received that the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle and may be heading to an address in Lake County.
A St. Louis County Sheriff’s Deputy observed the vehicle in the Lakeside area of Duluth around 9 a-m and pursued the suspect on North Shore Drive until the vehicle crashed near the intersection with the Homestead Road.
The suspect then fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance later by law enforcement from the Sheriff’s Office, Duluth Police and the Minnesota State Patrol.
Custody of the suspect was transferred to investigators from the St. Anthony Police Department in Ramsey County.
