DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Two Canada lynx brothers are the latest residents at the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth.
The cats are 7 and 6 years old and arrived from the Pittsburgh Zoo at the end of October.
Canada lynx are a native species in Minnesota but their numbers are down and are now listed as threatened.
Named Bjorn and Floki, the cats are located in a newly renovated habitat that features a climbing tree and a heated rock for these cold winter days.
During December, kids 12 and under get free admission to the Lake Superior Zoo.
