DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The WLSSD Treecycling Program is underway to recycle your fresh cut Christmas tree.
Six Duluth sites are open to drop off trees through January 10th.
They include the parking lots at Chester Park, Lester Park, the Duluth Heights Community Club, Woodland Community Club, the Rose Garden and City of Duluth Toolhouse on Commonwealth Avenue.
Trees are also accepted through January 31st at the WLSSD Yard Waste Compost Site of 27th Avenue West and the Materials Recovery Center off the Rice Lake Road.
Again this year, Twin Ports Trailer Trash is offering a free tree pickup service in Duluth, Superior and Hermantown. Natural trees with ornaments and lights removed should be left curbside for pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday.
