UNDATED (MNN) – Joe Biden is the winner of Minnesota’s Democratic presidential primary, upsetting rival Bernie Sanders who got roughly 30 percent of the vote to Biden’s 38 percent.
Elizabeth Warren was a distant third at 15 percent, followed by Michael Bloomberg with 8 percent.
Biden Minnesota spokesman Corey Day indicates the major factor was Senator Amy Klobuchar endorsing Biden after she dropped out of the race Monday.
Biden won nine of the primaries on Super Tuesday, including Texas, which holds the second largest number of delegates.
Sanders appears to have won California with its 415 delegates and three other states.
