SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – A malfunctioning air horn on a ship that is docked behind the McDonald’s Restaurant on East 2nd Street rattled much of Superior’s East End on Tuesday night.
The loud horn started sounding around 7:30 p-m and was finally shut off about an hour later.
Superior Police say the air horn was on the freighter “American Spirit” and the constant blast could be heard for miles around the area.
Once the horn was shut down, police, in a Facebook post, thanked people in the East End for their patience and for the response by those who fixed the issue on the ship.
