SANTIAGO, June 17 (Reuters) – Chile’s gross domestic product is expected to grow between 1% and 1.75% this year, the central bank said on Wednesday, reducing its forecast from a previous range of 1.5% to 2.5%.
Looking ahead, the bank raised its estimate for economic growth next year to 2% to 3%, from a prior range of 1.5% to 2.5%.
The bank also slightly raised its inflation forecast for 2026 to 3.7% from a previous 3.6%, amid instability and pressures from rising global fuel prices.
