VIRGINIA, MN (KDAL) – Residents and businesses in St. Louis County who sustained damage during the severe storms and flooding from June 16th through July 4th can now get in-person help in getting federal assistance.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has opened a Disaster Recovery Center at the County Public works facility in Virginia.
The center will be open seven days a week from 7:30 a-m to 6:30 p-m and is staffed by FEMA, state of Minnesota and Small Business Administration representatives.
Federal financial assistance is available for eligible homeowners and renters to cover temporary housing and home repairs.
