DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) has announced several changes that will take effect on March 1st.
Among the changes will be a new route called the DuLooper, a downtown circulator that will travel along Superior Street, 10th Avenue East, 3rd Street and 6th Avenue West.
The new Route 25 will serve downtown and the hillside every 15 minutes from 6 a-m to 6 p-m Monday through Friday and is a free service to improve access for those living and working in the downtown area.
Besides adding trips on several routes, the Route 24 Aquarium-DECC loop that was launched last August will be eliminated due to low utilization.
The DTA is encouraging the community to explore the proposed changes and submit comments at duluthtransit.com or at open house meeting on January 21st and the Board of Directors meeting on January 29th.
