DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – About a thousand sixth graders from around the region will be participating in the annual St. Louis River Quest this week.
Returning to its in-person format this year, excursions will tour the harbor and river estuary and students will experience 10 hands-on learning stations on the Vista Star and in Pioneer Hall at the DECC.
River Quest began in 1993 as a community based volunteer organization to enhance awareness and understanding of the St. Louis River ecosystem and the related commercial, industrial and recreational activities in the estuary.
