DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division and the Hermantown Night Riders will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate improvements to the St. Louis River Corridor snowmobile trails.
The noon event Friday will be held at the restored Kingsbury Bridge about a half mile from the Kingsbury Creek trail head.
The reclaimed trail offers great views of the St. Louis River estuary and the Duluth Harbor.
The restoration effort included new culverts, erosion repair and removal of rocks and stumps.
The project used volunteer help from the Hermantown Night Riders and funding from the DNR Regional Trail Grant Program and tourism taxes.
