DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Beginning Wednesday, masks will be required for staff and the public at all City of Duluth facilities.
Chief Administrative Officer Noah Schuchman says the move was made in the best interest of the staff, their families and the public.
The city will continue to get updated COVID information and recommendations from the CDC, Minnesota Department of Health, local hospitals and St. Louis County.
Mayor Emily Larson says masking will allow the city to keep serving the public while protecting public health. She also strongly encouraged people to get vaccinated.
Duluth fire stations have once again closed to the public but city meetings will go on in person.
