DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth now has an online survey available to gather public input regarding the future use of the Lester Park Golf Course.
It is part of a land use study requested by the Duluth City Council in October.
Survey participants can provide their views on various topics such as natural resources preservation, recreational opportunities and potential developments.
The survey can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LPGCSurvey1.
The Lester Park Golf Course was built in 1932 with 18 holes and expanded to 27 holes in the 1990’s. It was officially closed in 2020.
The land use study is expected to be complete by July and will then be brought to the planning commission and city council.
A public open house on the future of the site will be held on March 2nd at the Lester Park Elementary School.
