The Duluth Salvation Army has bell ringing openings at various times and locations throughout the area in the final weeks before Christmas.

The Salvation Army is also in desperate need of unwrapped toys for kids of all ages. In the past, they have averaged about 600 families for toy distribution while this year that number has doubled to over 1200. Toys can be dropped off at the Salvation Army offices on 27th Avenue West or at Bentleyville.
Meanwhile, Miner’s Incorporated begins its annual opportunity to round-up or add a Salvation Army donation at area Super One Store checkouts. Over the last two years that campaign has raised over 206 thousand dollars.
The Salvation Army provides food, shelter and care for families in need throughout the year.
