MINNEAPOLIS — Big opportunity for UMD, a chance to pick up a weekend sweep over longtime nemesis Minnesota on the road.
It will not be easy.
Minnesota got pushed around to an extent on Friday, with UMD largely putting on a defensive clinic in a 3-0 victory. Now we’ll see how the Gophers respond, and how UMD follows up what was mostly its best 60-minute game of the season to this point.
No changes for the Bulldogs. Tanner Ludtke and Cal Thomas are scratched for Minnesota due to undisclosed injuries, so the Minnesota lineup is in a blender. Leo Gruba is the only one of seven defensemen dressed to be right-handed, which might be something worth keeping an eye on.
Adam Gajan vs Nathan Airey.
