DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The seasonal air service between Duluth and Fort Meyers, Florida during the winter months has been suspended by Sun Country Airlines.
Duluth Airport Authority Executive Director, Tom Werner says they are disappointed with the news but realizes that airline route decisions are driven by complex business considerations and hopes the service will return in the future.
Sun Country provided the service over the last several winter seasons.
Currently, United Airlines offers four daily flights to Chicago and Delta offers four flights daily to Minneapolis-St. Paul. The Duluth Airport Authority is continuing to engage with current and potential future airline partners for expanded air service opportunities.
