SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) – The City of Superior Environmental Services Division and the Douglas County Land and Water Conservation Department are offering a Rain Barrel Workshop Wednesday evening.
The workshop is being held from 5:30 to 7 p-m at the Lake Superior National Estuarene Research Reserve conference room on Barker’s Island.
Residents will get information on the importance of collecting rain water and a barrel kit with guided assembly instructions. Collecting rain water for use in watering plants, gardens and trees helps to reduce runoff and cuts overall water bills.
