DULUTH, MN (CBS-3) – According to Superior National Forest officials, the Greenwood wildfire in northeastern Minnesota has destroyed 12 primary residences and damaged three others.
The fire has also destroyed 57 outbuildings.
There were no injuries since the impacted area was previously evacuated.
Many of the burned homes and cabins are in the McDougal Lake area.
As of Wednesday night, the fire was zero percent contained and was listed at nearly 22,000 acres.
