DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Highway 61 reconstruction project at Grand Marais is continuing.
Starting Monday, all traffic will be detoured to County Road 7 until the end of the month for the replacement of a box culvert at Fall River.
Local traffic will be able to access businesses and homes.
Virtual project updates from the Minnesota Department of Transportation have been suspended because of low attendance.
Motorists are urged to slow down, stay alert and minimize distractions in and near work zones.
MnDOT is also continuing a sign replacement project on Highway 61 which will result in lane closures at London Road and 26th Avenue East in Duluth starting at 8 p-m Monday until 6 a-m Tuesday.
