MAPLE, WI (KDAL) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident in the Town of Maple that left one person injured.
Deputies responded to the Pellman Loop Road around 3:45 on Monday afternoon to find the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Three people were detained and are being questioned about the incident. All of the subjects were known to each other and everyone involved in the incident are accounted for.
The victim was airlifted to a Duluth hospital and authorities say his condition is not known at this time.
