DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center, also known as the Depot, has hired Mary Tennis as Director.
Tennis has been the manager of Northern Waters Smokehaus in Canal Park and has a background in both business and the arts. She holds degrees in art history and English and is the President of the Duluth Public Arts Commission.
The new position at the Depot was created to improve the management and operations of the facility and work with the tenant organizations.
The Depot is home to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, North Shore Scenic Railroad, the Duluth Art Institute, St. Louis County Historical Society, Duluth Playhouse, Minnesota Ballet and the Arrowhead Chorale.
