DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth has named Jay Walker as the new executive director.
Walker is one of the original employees at the Aquarium who started as a curator of animal care when the facility opened its doors in Duluth nearly 20 years ago.
He has been serving as the interim executive director since November of 2018.
As director, Walker’s immediate focus is on fundraising and completion of a new Great Lakes Aquarium exhibit called “Raptor Ridge”.
